  • The show features three projects: Through the Glass by Iván Puñal; Morgazma by NastPlas (Natalia Molinos García and Fran Rodríguez Learte); and Anatomía del ruido by Carlos Cárdenas, all of which explore new technologies, formats, and visual narratives through a contemporary lens.

PHotoESPAÑA and CUPRA City Garage Madrid present Fronteras Digitales (de la imagen), a digital art exhibition showcasing emerging talents in the contemporary visual scene. This initiative is part of CUPRA’s ongoing commitment to supporting creative talent.

From June 17 to July 19, 2025, the Garage’s immersive room becomes a space where digital imagery comes to life through projections that combine technology, sound, and light. As part of the PHotoESPAÑA 2025 festival, the exhibition offers artists a unique platform to present their latest work, an invitation to explore new visual narratives and engage audiences open to the boundaries of digital art.

Fronteras Digitales (de la imagen)

CUPRA City Garage Madrid becomes a dynamic cultural hub where artists share their most recent work with new audiences and key players in the creative industry. This platform welcomes diverse perspectives, styles, and approaches that are reshaping the contemporary visual landscape.

This exhibition brings together the three winning projects from an open call for contemporary creators:

  • Through the Glass, de Iván Puñal, reflects on the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence and the emergence of a superintelligence capable of surpassing human cognition. The project questions our relationship with machines and introduces a new technological paradigm.
  • Morgazma, by the creative duo NastPlas, imagines a future where nature and technology coexist in a shared ecosystem. Amid the mechanical remains of a lost civilization, organic lifeforms emerge, prompting reflection on adaptation, transformation, and the human impact on the environment.
  • Anatomía del ruido, de Carlos Cárdenas, is an immersive installation composed of generative video loops that evoke natural textures through algorithmic processes. The piece offers a sensory experience exploring the boundaries between the artificial and the organic, drawing viewers into a captivating ambiguity.
