CUPRA continues to strengthen its alliance with FC Barcelona, supporting both the men’s and women’s teams in their matches across Spain and Europe. To celebrate the team’s return to the Spotify Camp Nou, the brand is launching the campaign “The Road Back Home”, a tribute to the passion that drives members, supporters, and fans.

As part of this initiative, CUPRA has unveiled the commemorative CUPRA Formentor e-HYBRID 272 PS, which will travel with the teams and visit up to 520 Barça fan clubs. Each fan club will have the opportunity to decorate the car with their badges, turning it into a rolling tribute to the Barça spirit.

Supporting the club and its members on their return to the Spotify Camp Nou is very special for us, but we want to go further. With our CUPRA Formentor, we will continue to inspire the world from Barcelona,” said Ignasi Prieto, Chief Brand Officer of CUPRA.

We always talk about our members and fans all over the world, who make us feel at home every time we travel to play in different stadiums. The campaign “The Road Back Home” was unveiled during an institutional event at the Spotify Camp Nou. The event featured the participation of Ignasi Prieto, Chief Brand Officer at CUPRA; Manel del Río, CEO of FC Barcelona; and representatives of the Barça fan clubs, who placed the first stickers with their emblems on the commemorative CUPRA Formentor e-HYBRID.

A celebration for Barça’s fan clubs

The CUPRA Formentor e-HYBRID was unveiled during the event and will now be present at all home matches played by the men’s team. In addition, it will accompany the Barça squad on thirteen trips, both in LaLiga and the UEFA Champions League, and will also be with the women’s first team in their UEFA Women’s Champions League matches.

“The Road Back Home” campaign will connect with over 520 Barça fan clubs throughout the season: at the stadium, where they will discover the vehicle during home matches, and at 200 additional supporter’s clubs during the teams’ away trips. The CUPRA Formentor e-HYBRID will capture the energy of the fans at each stop before taking its final place at the Spotify Camp Nou for its official unveiling. Through the CUPRA Universe website, members and fan clubs will be able to follow the campaign and take part by sending their badges from anywhere in the world.
