  • To wrap up the campaign to configure the players’ CUPRAs, the brand is heading to FC Barcelona’s home to select the Barça fans who will hand over the cars to the players
  • The draw will take place at half-time during the match between RCD Mallorca and FC Barcelona tomorrow, April 22 at the Lluís Companys Stadium, among attendees who bring their CUPRA car keys

A few months ago, FC Barcelona men’s football team players customised their new CUPRAs after testing them during a thrilling driving experience at the Terramar Circuit. The footballers and staff had the opportunity to immerse themselves in CUPRA’s world by exploring the brand’s entire model line-up, discovering the powerful emotions awakened by driving a CUPRA. Afterwards, the team had the opportunity to select their favourite car and configure it to their preferences.

Now, to finalise the campaign around configuring the CUPRAs for the players, the brand is heading to FC Barcelona's home to select the Barça fans who will deliver the cars to the footballers.

CUPRA and FC Barcelona are strengthening their alliance by taking the handover of the official cars one step further. On April 22, during the match against RCD Mallorca, CUPRA will give Barça fans attending the game at the Lluís Companys Stadium the unique opportunity to personally deliver their customised car to each FC Barcelona men’s team player.

During half-time, as part of La Liga matchday 33, fans in the stadium will be able to participate in a special activation called the “Key Cam.” To take part, they simply need to bring their CUPRA car keys and hold them up from the stands when prompted. If spotted by the camera, they’ll win the chance to hand over a player’s CUPRA the following days at Barcelona’s Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper training ground.

The brand will set up two CUPRA corners outside the stadium, in the grandstand and lateral entrances, so that fans can stop by to leave their details, show their key, and take home a CUPRA foam hand as a gift.

The men's first team and coach Hansi Flick personally configured their cars in February after exploring the full CUPRA range and its various options during their driving day at the Terramar Circuit.
