CASA SEAT will be the city’s cultural hotspot in March with a highly diversified programme that includes concerts, literary presentations, sporting events and more.
Loads of music and rhythm
CASA SEAT is kicking off March with a concert by international artist Yami Safdie who, with more than 13 million monthly listeners on Spotify, reached success in 2023 with her song “De nada” and continued in 2024 with “En otra vida”, adding up to more than 119 million plays.
Music stays the course throughout the month, and on the 26th, CASA SEAT welcomes Barry B, an artist recognised for his fusion of urban and electronic genres, with more than 450 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify.
Carnival at CASA SEAT
On the 7th, CASA SEAT is celebrating Carnival with a special Mardi Gras-inspired edition by BRESH and BAF! Renowned DJs Cucut, Mr. Mountes, Janse Music, Mballa and a surprise guest artist will fill the night with rhythm, feathers and a splash of colour. In addition, those attending will be able to enjoy various interactions, such as a beauty booth, on the spot tattoo artists and the customisation of sneakers by Reebok, creating a unique, unforgettable experience.
Sport and the tribe
During the month of March, CASA SEAT is also presenting a variety of activities for sports enthusiasts. Following the successful inauguration of its running club on 18 February, with the participation of more than 400 people, two new sessions will be held on the 4th and 18th.
In addition, LoveCycle has prepared a challenging indoor cycling session on the 13th for those who want to push their limits; an ideal opportunity to enjoy this sports activity in a unique setting.
Insightful reads
March is also going to be a literary month. On the 4th, film analyst and cultural promoter Sandra Miret is presenting Damas, Villanas y Lolitas (Ladies, Villainesses and Lolitas), a book that explores generational stereotypes in film. In addition, on the 11th, CASA SEAT is hosting the presentation of the book Órbitas by molecular biologist and Spanish astronaut candidate Sara García Alonso.
Later in the month on the 17th, writer and journalist Xavier Bosch is presenting his new novel Diagonal Manhattan, a story that takes place between Barcelona and New York. With an extensive background in writing, Bosch brings us a literary work that promises to continue the success of his previous titles, such as Algú com tu (Someone like you), which won him the Ramon Llull Prize 2015.
Popular podcasters Laura Fa and Lorena Vázquez, the pioneers of Mamarazzis, are taking to the stage on the 21st to offer a live performance.
And to close the month, on the 31st the space will be the backdrop for the presentation of the book Ni me explico ni me entiendes by psychologist Xavier Guix, a practical book on how to improve interpersonal communication.
