SEAT & CUPRA continues on a positive trajectory in 2026, posting an operating result of €122 million in the first half of the year, €84 million more than in the same period of 2025 (€38 million). The company’s new corporate strategy is strengthening SEAT & CUPRA’s position in an increasingly competitive market environment. In particular, the Performance Program launched in 2025 continues to deliver tangible results, reinforcing operational efficiency through strict cost discipline while laying the foundations for future growth. In addition, the exemption of the CUPRA Tavascan from the EU’s additional countervailing duties contributed positively to the year-on-year performance.

“SEAT & CUPRA continues to make good progress, demonstrating resilience in a demanding context with our first semester results. The measures we are implementing are having a tangible effect as we continue to develop our long-term corporate strategy. In a crucial year for SEAT & CUPRA, our electric models are accelerating our positive trend, with the CUPRA Raval exceeding expectations, doubling all forecasts for customer orders.”

Markus Haupt, CEO of SEAT and CUPRA.

CUPRA’s STRONG OUTLOOK IN A CHALLENGING CONTEXT

CUPRA’s momentum plays a central role in the new corporate strategy and remains a key driver of the company’s results, with sales revenue reaching €7.7 billion, 1.3% more than in the first half of 2025 (€7.6 billion). The brand continues to break sales records, while demand for its electric models keeps growing.

Following the launch of the Electric Urban Car Family and the start of production of the CUPRA Raval, the company has completed its transformation and is ready to lead a new era of electric mobility in Europe from Spain. The launch of the CUPRA Raval in April exceeded all expectations, doubling forecasts for customer orders, becoming its most successful launch to date and driving an 85% increase in orders for CUPRA’s BEV models during Q2.

“In an environment that remains highly complex and competitive, these results confirm that we are moving in the right direction. Our Performance Program provides a solid foundation for a return to sustainable long-term profitability, but this is only the beginning. We must now maintain our disciplined focus on operational excellence while further improving margin quality to secure lasting success.”

Patrik Andreas Mayer, Executive Vice-President for Finance and IT at SEAT & CUPRA

THE CUPRA RAVAL DRIVES THE BRAND’S RECORD-BREAKING JOURNEY

CUPRA delivered 170,100 vehicles between January and June, achieving its best first semester in history. The brand grew compared with the same period last year (H1 2025: 167,600), driven by its electric model deliveries, which rose by 7.2% overall and accelerated to 18.5% growth in the second quarter alone. The SEAT brand also delivered solid results with 129.600 delivered vehicles and strong demand for the new SEAT Ibiza (+9.2%).

GAINING STRENGTH FOR THE ROAD AHEAD

SEAT & CUPRA continues to demonstrate its resilience in a global market undergoing profound transformation and expected to remain highly competitive and challenging throughout 2026. Nevertheless, the company is on the right path thanks to its new corporate strategy, and its position remains strong. SEAT & CUPRA is successfully laying the foundations for its long-term sustainability, with Martorell at its core as an automotive powerhouse ready to lead the new era of electric mobility. CUPRA continues to drive the company’s future growth, with ambitions to become a truly global brand by expanding into new markets, including the Middle East from Q3 2027, and increasing its market share across Europe to 3%.
